 ive steps to address and rectify a recent incident involving the\ninadvert
 ent disclosure of sensitive information related to local\nbusinesses\, inc
 luding Dune Rider Cafe.\n\n \n\nOn August 10\, 2024\, it was discovered t
 hat sensitive information\npertaining to Dune Rider Cafe was inadvertently
  disclosed. We deeply\nregret this oversight and understand the importance
  of safeguarding\nprivate data. The City of Lakeside is committed to addre
 ssing this\nissue with transparency and urgency.\n\n \n\nTo prevent any f
 uture occurrences\, the City is instituting a new\npolicy that will requir
 e the redaction of sensitive information in the\npresence of OLCC applican
 ts. This measure is designed to ensure that\nall information is handled wi
 th the highest level of confidentiality\nand care.\n\n \n\nIn addition\, 
 the City of Lakeside is enhancing its data security\nprotocols to further 
 safeguard sensitive information. These steps\ninclude a comprehensive revi
 ew and update of current data protection\nmeasures to prevent similar inci
 dents in the future.\n\n \n\nAs a gesture of goodwill and to assist in mi
 tigating any potential\nimpact\, the City is offering complimentary credit
  monitoring services\nfor one year to the affected parties. We hope this m
 easure provides\nadded reassurance and support.\n\n \n\n“We deeply apol
 ogize for any inconvenience or concern this incident\nmay have caused\,”
