Welcome to the Lakeside Public Library!

Who are we?

The Friends of the Lakeside Library is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation made up of volunteers who believe a strong library is essential to a strong community.

​To support this belief, the Friends promote Reading, Literacy, Library Use, and support for the library through special projects and programs.

What do we do?

Through donations and funds raised from book sales, grants, and special events, we financially support library programs including:

• Summer Reading Program for children
• Purchasing items outside of the library budget such as the copier, computers, fax, etc.

How can you help?

• Join the Friends. Free membership.  Join Us!
• Buy Books. Come to our book sales, and visit our section in the library.
• Donate your gently used, clean books to the library.
• Get involved. Make full use of this precious resource.
• Volunteer in the Library. Got an hour or two a week? Anything helps.
