VOLUNTEER RECRUITMENT

THE CITY OF LAKESIDE is looking for interested parties seeking to participate in the future growth and administration of our city.   We are currently accepting applications for the Budget Committee.  We have one opening which we would like to appoint at the May 9^th City Council meeting.

BUDGET COMMITTEE: One position for a two-year term ending December 31, 2025 and consideration for re-appointment of 3-year terms may be made by the City Council.  Typically, 4 meetings a year during March, April, and May.  The Budget Committee is the entire City Council and an equal number of volunteer citizens (total of 14) to review the proposed city budget until they can agree upon and vote to approve it.

Applications for these volunteer positions may be found on the city’s website (Government:Forms:Boards and Commission Applications-bottom right corner of page) and at City Hall.  Candidates will be interviewed in an open public meeting.
