CITY COUNCIL SPECIAL MEETING AGENDA DECEMBER 21, 2023 NOON
CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS, 915 NORTH LAKE ROAD, LAKESIDE, OR.

In accordance with HB2560, the City of Lakeside, to the extent reasonably possible, will make all meetings accessible remotely via Zoom and provide the opportunity for citizens to submit oral testimony during the meeting and written testimony by emailing cityhall@cityoflakeside.org by 11 am on the day of this SPECIAL MEETING.

NOTICE: The City Council of Lakeside announces a single-issue special meeting to be held at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 21. The purpose of the meeting is to adopt a resolution authorizing the city manager to schedule an emergency election to fill the vacancies on the city council that will be created when the results of the November 2023 recall election are certified. The City Council recognizes that an emergency exists in that the Lakeside City Council will not be able to conduct City business until the Council vacancies are filled. The scheduling of an emergency election under the authority of

ORS 221.230(3) is necessary because it is already too late to make the March 12, 2024 special election date and the City Council does not want to have to wait for the next special election date of May 21, 2024.

We will attempt to set up Zoom access for this special meeting  and will share access information, if possible, prior to the meeting
