Business License Application

Dear Business Owners:

Your 2023 Business License Application for you can be picked up at City Hall or found on the City’s Website at cityoflakeside.org to fill out and return with your payment. The annual license fee is $70.00 and is payable to the City of Lakeside. There is no fee for individuals whose businesses fall within the "hobbyist" classification, i.e., those who make less than $1,500.00 per year.   Please note that Ordinance 193 states that where an applicant for a business license is operating more than one business from the same location, the applicant need only pay the one license fee. Therefore, while I need to complete an application for both businesses, it is only necessary to pay $70.00 to license both. Applications should be mailed to P. 0. Box L, Lakeside, OR 97449. In the event you do not wish to renew your license, please call and let us know so we can make a note of it in our files.

As you may remember, ORS Chapter 648 requires all businesses within the State of Oregon, other than those using their real and true name as their business name, to register with the Office of the Secretary of State. The City of Lakeside requires all businesses within the city limits to be in compliance with all local, State, and Federal laws. Please be sure your registration with the State of Oregon is current prior to submitting your application to us.
